Guangdong Yudean Group Co., Ltd (Hereinafter referred to as “Yudean Group”) was founded in 2001 and it is the nation's first power enterprise which was born after the reformation of electric power system that proposed the idea ‘separation of plant and network.’ Yuedean group inherited the power generation business of the original Guangdong electric power group corporation and became one of the biggest energy group companies with a registered capital of RMB 21.5 billion in Guangdong province. The total assets of Yudean group reached RMB 129.6 billion and net assets reached RMB 56.6 billion by December 31, 2012.

After more than ten years of development, the total assets, the installed capacity, annual energy output, annual revenues and annual per capita GDP of Yedean Group are doubled compared to that it was founded in 2001. By the end of 2012, Yuedean Group reached the controllable installed capacity of 26.74 million kilowatts and controllable capacity of 2.61 million tons. It owns more than 130 wholly-owned, holdings or participation units and also owns the holding of a public company -- Guangdong electric power development Co., Ltd. Yudean Group has formed the power plate optimization development and promoted the diversified new pattern of "one main, multi-aspect" development of the diversified plate. It is located in the forefront in terms of the quality of assets and corporate reputation among the national power generation companies. It ranked the 194th among the top 500 enterprises in China and ranked the 20th among the top 500 enterprises in Guangdong in 2012.
